I wonder what the animation would look like when Nefarious glitches out to play Lance and Janet. The game seems to be a little less cartoonish compared to PS2/PS3 titles, but I'm sure no one will have an issue with it. NO ONE! I say that because I know how people are over the littlest of things.

tHIS would be perfect if it wasn't for: 1. a painful migrane inducing low framerate on millions of particles, (pc gaming should be allowed to test this game on higher framerates) 2.Shallow gameplay, with "look how shiny" but boring braindead gameplay thats even insulting to an 8 year old. 3. Actual proffesional writing where they found people who actually cares about ratchet and clank. 4. Not reeking of corporate greed so that pc and x-box players can enjoy this franchise. 5. ps5 wasn't a ps4 with two halves of a binder taped to the side. 6. ratchet still looking like a baby lombax and moves like he has stilts strapped on his legs. These devs are sick people, i mean they actually put "play has no limits" as a tagline and they have shoved a bunch of inherent gaming limits all over this franchise for years now...

I hope they understand that if this game is anything like the last abomination, not only will it bomb, but Insomniac's reputation is gonna take a hit they won't be able to brush off. Quit making these games so unbearably child-friendly.

This game caught my attention and since I haven't played this saga since Ps3 era I got the Ps4 remaster of the original and now I can proudly say I'm hyped for this one

The previous game looked almost like a CG movie. This is the real deal. Also I can see why this would need an SSD and MUCH MORE RAM compared to a PS4. The game still drops a frame or two when transitioning but it is really awesome

Ps5 new ssd is too powerful for ps4

Why couldn't Sony do a dual release, 1 of somewhat lesser quality on the PS4, and the better one on PS5 for those who want to upgrade. They did that for Breath of the Wild, and it worked great, a sales boost for the WiiU and a great launch title for the Switch. My point is that this game looks great, but not enough for me to shell out for a PS5. Honestly I don't game on consoles as much as I used to, kind depresses me to be honest, I got games I either have barely played, or not at all,

The concept of planet hopping was designed around the SSD. Even if they could get it to run on PS4, the planet hopping sequence shown in this trailer would instead have like 15 second long gaps between each dimension which would completely kill the pacing.

I think its only on ps5 because the game is built around the new ssd in the ps5. The whole purple rift mechanic that they are showing off wouldn't be possible on a ps4.

Along with this game, I’d love if Insomniac remastered all the PS3 Ratchet and Clank games into one big collection. I would buy that without any hesitation. A crack in time was one of my favourite PS3 games ever.
