I have a question, I have 1 original vanilla account made when the game was first released and 9 more accounts I started in TBC. Will all my old mounts, skins, achievements be included if I make a classic or tbc character with any of my old accounts? I know a lot of people don't like the paid boost, but honestly for my friends who played bc back then and want to play it now again it's huge. They can level with me when bc comes out. No one of us got the time like as we were kids, so it's realy nice to have it again. Leveling sure is part of the game. But for us, the end game is the real game.

I hope they will adress the economy on launch issue. People with thousands of gold will just buy their epic fly mount after reaching 70. That is actually the best argument for fresh BC servers. They cant just nulify the gold although it could be a solution.

Pre-nerd Bosses are super exciting in my opinion. Especially because they will later on nerf them. This creates some kind of unique flair for your server, where there are guilds that made it prenerf, and some that did not. Its reviving the spirit of the server/community like it was back then, at least to a certain degree. Also starting with 2.4.3 is totally fine for me, so that mages dont start out as useless buffmachines in PVE only to become better very much later on. They are doing lots of things right in TBC classic, and only a few points, at least for me, i could complain about. The character boost though is scary. It did a big job in making WoW worse when it came out back then, and i dont see any reason to cater to new players wanting to play TBC, because if they want to, they will level a character up themselves. And i HOPE they keep attunements. They make a big part of character progression and character lore for me. Its still partially an RPG and i want it to stay like so. Reducing the rep cap for HC keys is "fine-ish" for me, not perfect, but acceptable. Removing attunement quest chains for raids would be straight up bullshit.

Yeah you're objectively wrong about level 58 level boosts being bad it's a one-time level boost per account once overall on every server you can only do it once on one server. this is going to bring back a bunch of people who stopped playing because they did not enjoy the slow leveling of classic and it's going to bring in a bunch of new people because they don't have to go through the b******* slog and yes leveling in classic while enjoyable the first time or maybe even the seconds time I would say it's a very fair assumption to say the majority of players really f****** hate leveling in classic this can be seen by the overall general positive outlook on the level boosts and the fact that there are hundreds and hundreds of players every day on every server looking for me to boosting and paying for mage boosting. Also, for those concerned about the cloning he mentioned. The clones will be based on a specific snapshot at prepatch. So it wont be a clone of whenever you initiate the process but of your character from the exact snapshot. But at least one character can basically take the whole guild bank from my understanding.

Only played classic for about 3 months. Would love to start again with TBC but I would really prefer a fresh server so im not massively behind goldwise. Also it would be fun to do all the classic dungeons again for the last time with plenty of other people levelling up.

I know the 1 the 58 boost is a huge topic for a lot of people. And let's be honest about this it's a cash grab It's a way to monetize that's what it is. I don't personally care However Let's just pretend for a minute if we could because for most people it's either it's in the game or it's not. Well what if we gave blizzard some alternative options. So after me thinking I came up with 2 And a curious If people think they're better or worse. Alternative one Give the account itself a really big experience post kind of like the recruit a friend except a lot bigger. So what if instead of A level boost What they give is a really huge experience boost let's say you get 5 times experience on the Actual account. This would help players still have to play through the world and it would also help with the bots because the thing is of the experience boost is on the account itself. That account is a lot more valuable Not only that it is also helps with blood elves injury they also because of your king 5 times experience you're going to level a ton faster obviously. I am a if you can go from 1 to 60 in A-day Granted you're still playing but you're still doing it. My opinion is give me that over that because instead of getting one character all Leveled up I get to level a bunch of characters a lot. But I still have to do it On top of that it does Make it harder on bots because it makes the account a lot more valuable if I pay $60. And now every single character I made on classic tbc 1-60 Is 5 times I'm gonna be a lot more careful. Why because now my account has an investment more so On top of that this would kind of get rid of the need for boosting. Think about if I can just get from 1 to 60 in A-day just by questing and grinding why do I care about a boost from a mage? So there's also that However the down points It's gonna feel really clunky and really weird leveling and you're level 30 and still an elin forest. On top of that gearings going to feel weird especially even if the quest rewards are buffed it's still gonna feel really awkward. However at 60 there's always the PVP gear grand Marshal In pre patch so depen how you see that. Alternative number 2 Heirlooms or boa Gear I completely well where this was introduced in wrath of the lich king. However if we're comparing albums to apples here now would you level as fast as you would having a 5 times experience boost no. However it would make leveling feel a lot better because you always have gear piece You don't have to worry about finding gear as you level. And it will give you something solid to start out at 60 with However how do the implemented I personally think the best way would be they put in the mount and pet tabs And the heirloom tabs Like they did in cata. You pay $60 they just give it to you You have basically a leveling gear set now are you gonna be better off than someone that was raging. Naxx no I would say maybe you're a club lands to about off the top of my head I think about zg/mc Level of gear? I think MadSeason may be a tiny bit upset about level boost.

You might be a bit misinformed with the boost; as far as we've been told, it's an optional once-per-account boost explicitly for BC servers, and you won't be able to boost draenei and/or blood elves. I don't think it's as likely to be as problematic as it's made out to be here! As for the paid cloning option, I don't see why that's a problem. If someone wants to finish gearing their character in a faithful Classic manner but want to be able to continue into BC with that character, it only seems fair to provide the option. I'd be more concerned about the current economy of the game, where some people have metric tonnes of gold. Some people I know already have their epic flying money banked up along with all the gold they could need for levelling professions without issue.

I find this to be the height of laziness from Blizzard. While yes Shadowlands is new, is it really that hard for Blizz to do Classic? They're not updating anything like they attempted with Warcraft 3 and are going to attempt with Diablo 2. Instead its just a release of the same game from almost 20 years ago. Its lazy. I doubt mad will see this But let me try and justify the paid stuff So first cloning / duping The cloning doesnt allow for duping gold because everyones character gets duped at the same time, regardless of if you pay for the dupe Both versions of the character are then locked What then happens is you get 1 free unlock per character, and if you want you can pay for the other version to be unlocked This means that you cant dupe gold by systematically having players move gold around So why force players to pay real money to unlock the other version of each character? Well a big issue with duping all the characters is anyone that no longer cares about classic / tbc can share all their gold to a friend, "i dont care about tbc, so here is my 12k gold ive farmed up since your going to actually play tbc" adding a pay wall pretty heavily disincentivises this since few people are going to pay money just to give away their ard earned gold Is it a perfect solution? No Are some people still going to pay just to give away their gold? Probably But i think its a pretty good solution to the issue

I think the paid character boost is a necessary evil. On one hand, yes i leveld several classes to 60 in classic and there is a certain pride for me in it. But on the other hand, iv also paid mages to boost one of my alts from 15-50 and i can see why you want to buy a 58 boost for tbc. Its not like retail where levling is super smooth and easy, if you are not intressted in classic or leveling in the old world (Given how much they improved it in tbc with all the other things such as new spells, talents and so on) its just a drag and will keep many from even trying BC that have not leveled in classic at all. But at the same time i understand peoples frustration with this and all i can say that were lucky its only once per account and not unlimited

its been many many years since ive played retail wow...no plans of ever returning again wont go into detail as to why...i really do enjoy watching your videos and have for sometime now cant remember how i ever ended up on your channel in the first place because its been THAT long ago...i appreciate the time and effort you have taken to show us all your stuff you post up back in the day ive played with alot of really decent people stayed friends with a bunch even after i stopped playing and looking at them and looking at you honestly i dont think ive ever met or encountered anyone that has as much love and passion for wow as you do...and would of loved to of met you ingame when i did play because it would of been such a true honor and privilege to have had you as a friend and alot of fun too...just wanted to say thank you for all you do take care because i care :)

Seal of Blood damage in a raid environment is less than 1% but I guess you could justify it for PvP.

Not what I wanted. I wanted Classic to show everyone that the game design in Vanilla was awesome, and that this would spawn new games or perhaps even a Classic+ game. It might still, but I don't think this will come from Activision.

These people will buy every primal fire,air,water,earth,mights,crafting materials, gems etc etc etc. These items will be inflated artificially meaning Mr Joe Casual is going to have to fight in hugely populated areas where people are all trying to tag mobs 24/7 OR buy a 1 primal fire out of the 30+ you need for 50g. If you want a good example look at the prices of Black Lotus in Classic right now. Farmed 24/7 by nerds/bots leaving the average player 0% chance of finding one naturally. They then make up the price and people HAVE to pay because EVERYONE NEEDS FLASKS. Rich get richer by manipulating the entire server and then sell the gold. EVERY CLASS AND PROFESSION NEEDS PRIMAL MIGHTS.

Primal fire - Heavily farmed or low drop rate Primal water - Heavily farmed or low drop rate Primal shadow - so easy lol Primal air - Literally 6 mobs in SMV that can drop them at even a half decent rate. Only other way is low low drop chance or dungeons. A boomkin bot will constantly tag these. Primal earth - fairly easy to get since earth elementals are common in TBC Primal might - need 1 of each primal and a 3 day (?) cool down to make 1. These will be bought out for the first few months as everyone needs multiple Primal Mights for multiple different crafts. This is one example of many. Also if you are rolling Rogue with the dreams of getting them warglaives I hope you are willing to bid more REAL MONEY to the guild leader or im afraid to say you aint getting shit. By the time you complain it will already be done. Sure you might rage quit but who cares the server population will be 30% rogues.

While ppl buy gold and gear and prices sky rocket the average player stays broke and bends the knee to the GDKP gods. lol at this point im like fk it put the boosts in add the token and try and let things balance out. At least we can say daddy blizzard is keeping the loot vs the 3rd party grps that slang low key and keep our economy in shambles. Also I'm retarded and dont know what I'm talking about.

I honestly like the level boost. it's only 1 per account and only to lvl 58. I leveled to 60 on my first server which died so I leveled 2 chars on 2 different servers to about 35 before just quitting becuz none of my friends continued playing anyways. now with the TBC transfer we also dont know if u get to choose which server to copy ur char too, or if it will automatically go to the same named TBC server (since it has been announced that the server names will all be the same). so Its possible I will want to boost to 58 on a more popular server as my original 3 servers might be underpopulated ones going into TBC.
