My little sister finally started watching campaign 2. I think it’ll be a while before she realizes I am who I am, but Nell if you ever read this, yes it’s me. Love you. Any moments I missed? Feel free to post them here. Is it Thursday yet?

I have never read one of these past ‘Episode Starts’. Nothing was cleared up or understood to even be a spoiler IMO. I am 48% more confused than before. 71% more hyped to gain the knowledge of this episode.

This episode was a roller coaster, god damn.
i fucking hate the fact that people use ADHD as a joke
Holy aventer needs attunement by a paladin though XD
I love that Jester & Fjord's engagement only lasted 10 minutes
55 minutes in, current theory is that there was no god-smiting, and what struck down the city of aeor was the act of the somnovum ripping out their chunk of the city
Dairon is so fucking cool
Legendary moment in history there at the end of the first half.
i love looking at matts face when his party just figured something out. He tries so hard to just look casual and normal its hilarious if you were there you couldint tell.
@3:44:10 Cute-Ashley:"Let's just keep playing" Oh, how I do know that feeling.
These guys suck at opsec
I'm so close to catching upppp
Matt Mercer taking Caleb and Beau to the Black Lodge.
I apologize to everyone who hears me practicing storm noises for three days after Yasha has a dream.
blast scepter? I hardly know her!
Excited for when Yasha gets persistent rage with Rage beyond death so she effectively can't die ever
"Veth, Drop It!" said Jester "Good girl. Sit!"
when did inspector Cluso become spiderman?
That body is going to start rotting soon, Cad hasn't been there to cast his spell to prevent decay.
Chills at the end dude!!!!
2:51:42 Is Travis ok? His arms started moving oddly here during the discussion. At first I thought it was a stress ball situation, but his hands are empty.
"100 foot radius" **Everyone collectively pogchamps**
Sam: Is this like the Cleveland of Tal'dorei? Like a little shitty? Me: Hey! >:( Sam: Sorry cleveland 😂 Me: no... You're kinda right....
Lolz on the cyberpunk shade.
why are they trying so hard to be woke lmao they have to tiptoe around every fucking npc's pronouns because they felt the need to make it a huge deal
I've tested all websites, and all but one are fake. It's called Gamecrook.
Now I want a CriticalRole murder mystery one shot :'(
1:45 oh Sam, you have never been more wrong in this show. xD
This episode will forever be known in my mind as throwback thursday
Listening to this while working is fun Bc my name is also Caleb, and sometimes I get very startled when they say my name out of context. it’s a time
Caleb should learn Tenser's Transformation just to turn Veth's entire reality upside down.
At 2:46:08, I like to imagine that their in-game characters actually react that way when finding out the effects of the anti-magic grenade.
anamniseis the greek word for the word memories i love you matt!
when I tell you that the smile did not leave my face the whole conversation with Allura!!!
Out of everything that greater restoration was cap because jester should not know that was a curse and how to solve it on Veth, it was suppose to be something big than oh your snap out of it because Jester saw you aim your crossbow.🤣
This show only ever gets better. Imagine all the people in the world who still haven't felt the pure joy of watching... I hope they realize soon :D
Who else is got the feeling Artie is an ex of Allura? Can you imagine he as strong magical as she is and a bit wilder. He would love her especially since she's so regal.
I feel like Matt is giving them a bit of a handout because they're not really pulling together solid strategies/ resources to face off against Lucien and crew yet.

agreed, having any kind of strategic approach to any situation seems almost non-existent in this campaign, and I hope they are doing it on purpose, otherwise...*cringe noises*
Marisha is obsessed with the Luxon Beacons. She is also a font of conspiracy. She gets the themes presented and she's like "Hell yeah! Now all of my Wild Conspiracy theories are going to be right!" This is more of an observation than criticism... I find it as a viewer to be a little bit exasperating but as a DM I find the idea incredibly charming and endearing.
This is probably the weirdest comment I will ever make, I am concerned for Liam's prostate. He keeps getting up multiple times a session
Can we just take a moment to appreciate how handsome and dapper Matthew Mercer looks in the thumbnail for this episode.
why do they keep trying to connect the luxon and the beacons to cognouza, is there any evidence linking them?
Damn, Yudala. I’m about ready to join up with the Cobalt Soul!
So...the staff is Steven Tyler's mic?
Spoilers . . . . . . . . . . The reveal about Beau's abduction hit like an emotional two-by-four. Like Marisha (I'm pretty sure), I absolutely didn't see it coming; like Beau, I'd just assumed there'd be no justice out of hand. The shock of that not, if only this once, being true shredded me in a way no new injury to the characters could have done. I'm saying this poorly, but *fucking ow.* And thank you, Matt Mercer. (And Marisha Ray for the amazing scene, although I don't know how much was roleplaying.)
You get a dream! You get a dream! Everyone gets a dream! Except you Fjord, you sit this one out
3:27:07 I beg to differ! This has been so entertaining, seeing them struggle to decide between powerful items is actually funny compared to the beginnings where they had to vote for who got the magic item in the first place. It's cool to be reminded of how far they've come.
The old version of Welcome to Wildemount is better. This one sounds like the studio cut. Sounds like its trying too hard, doing too much. The other version was perfect.
I just wanna say I love watching you guys hash out which items go to whom
My balls have never been bluer than ~1:35
3:25:27 Fjord drinks like a highschool frat boy i just realized
you have gotta love the irony. One of their most prized expositor whose job is to root out corruption only become an expositor through a corrupt official.
“I like your style” one buff lesbian recognizing another, true solidarity
Hope they investigate that connection between the Savalirwood corruption and Aeor. Cad's family might have more info now.
I want to see them do a one shot of one of Sam's random Rpgs
Fjords persuasion is only +5? I thought it was +10?
I knew it was worth everything to watch campaign one before catching up 😭😭😭 My friends thought I was crazy to watch it all the time but I regret NOTHING
Wow, that dagger. Fucking YIKES.
When they reach Iman , I felt like the scene from ratatouille , jumping to a more happier time and really enjoying this episode
What got me was Matts sigh when Sam said the success of cyberpunk 2077
Somehow I'm a month behind. Been nervous to see how this Molly/Lucien situation resolves.
I never realized how dope the intro music was, is it downloadable on spotify?
I really want an episode were fjord is like gorgug and just sees a half orc woman and goes "are you my mom"

Haha that'd be hilarious
He finally used Halfling "Luck". LOL
This was a fucking great episode.
Dude, Matt. The long hauls that came to light this episode have made the last 5 years of my obsession so worth it. Go beau dude.

Also “you’re in the rowing team?” Is easily the funniest shit I have heard in so long, and it didn’t get the laugh it deserved.
I want Yusa and Essek to be friends
1 shot idea: Yusa’s adventure into the fun ball
3:43:10 Let's just agree that Matt was quickly possessed during the short female scream so i don't shit my pants... Please
The religion around the Luxon is just sci-fi Hinduism. No, I will not elabourate.
I started watching 2020 around the time this episode had come out, I'm about a month behind now, but still further than you are, dear reader!
Nott nice Sam. Love you Travis
*Spoiler for episode 129* 3:15:44 Liam: "Well, I got a ring of evasion which means I succeed every dex save I ever make in this game." Matt: "Certainly... all of them." After *just 2* combat opportunities, Caleb then fails a dexterity save of 19 by rolling and 18 and then goes unconscious. I knew Taliesin had Eldrich powers... but Matt has divination!
This episode makes up for all of will weatons dice rolls
GIVE HALAS THE POWERS OF THE NONAGON
Thank the gods for the visit. It certainly helped sooth my recent irritation. C1 good vibes, aaahhh...
'we are not absolved even of accidental cruelty'. i dunno man, having the head of a fictional organisation take action when corruption and abuse is happening within their ranks - it's balm to my heart (because FUCK do we need to hear this) but also heart breaking because how does fiction get it better than realisty? justice is so rare. thanks for that matt
I didn't watch the first campaign. Is that where allora is from?
I really want to see what kind of damage a fireball would do in that spell enhancement room
I feel like this episode could've been called shit happens
I kind of wanna send them like a buttload of Werther's Original now but I fear that if I bought them I would eat them all myself
So uh Did they just pull an inheritance series?
Dude Matt is an insane DM and actor. The plot and voice work and everything he does makes my jaw constantly hit the floor.
Matt being "Don't quote me on perfect exactitude of the geographic situation of a Place in a world i completely invented" love those guys.
Is nonagon/Lucien a reskinned beholder?
I really like when they get side tracked, by candy. It really shines that they're all just friends having a good time. Great thing to have during these times.
Does anyone else just look at Marisha and like... have their breath taken away?
So...what I'm getting from the conversation with Halas is that Aeor is Exandria's version of the Tower of Babel.
I'm sure they're probably part of the orientation for the guards at this point. For the Cobalt Soul and Roshana.
3:02:26 Isnt Dairon a woman or am I wrong?
I wonder if those tower mods will be enough to make a Zemnian blush, I hear they're into some freaky stuff. 😉😂
She asked “if you wanted to be hugged by strong arms” and a strength of 10 I do not think counts! Marisha.
"The self hug is too 2020" I FUCKING FELT THAT
25:36
TOTALLY thought that sam was gonna ask Allura about an extra purple nipple.
I used to listen on a podcast format as I would be driving while this was on. I logged on specifically to see this mustache that Sam has. Wow. That IS bad.
I'm not sure if fighting ninjas sounds more like the ideal date for Beau or Marisha
3:32:18 We found the location for the next Chunin Exam.
Well done Matt. That response to the violation of removing Beau's autonomy was what it should be. The character took the allegations seriously, without taking personal responsibility for it happening, BUT collectively (the organisation) took responsibility for addressing it and investigating it. Just because you personally didn't do something wrong by someone, doesn't mean that you should defend the actions of those associated with you from any wrongs they do. Institutionalised denial of violation (of any kind) is so prevalent in our world :( People need to not take it as a personal offense when they hear of someone they know doing something wrong. Who they are to you is not the same as who they are to someone else. Blind faith, even in those you know, is a dangerous and foolish thing.
I honestly thing this is all about this one dude that creat 11th lvl spell and tryed to absorbed goddes of magic...
